Camp Rules

Camp Rules

We are going to have an awesome experience at camp. Before we set off for our adventure it is important to understand the expectations we have for our Young Women and leaders. Please
review the information with your parents, then print and sign the form.
Both you and your parentor gaurdian must sign.  Please return the form to your Ward
Camp Director by Sunday, June 10th

Everyone attending Girls Camp desire an enjoyable and uplifting experience for everyone,
both campers and adult staff.  If a camper fails to meet these expectations at any time, her parent/guardian will be asked to pick her up and take her home.

Young women review these rules with her parent(s) and print out the Code of Conduct Form.
Both the young woman and her parent must sign this form acknowledging her commitment to
follow the rules while at camp.  The form must be returned to the Ward Camp Director.

  • Treat others with the same respect you would like to be treated. Be loving, compassionate, and friendly! Include all those around you, and avoid gossip.

  • Be respectful of speakers and leaders. Listen with open ears and participate with a happy disposition. This includes any tasks or chores given by your leaders.

  • Living LDS standards. Be modest in your clothing choices. Shield your body from the elements, physically and spiritually. Please wear shirts with sleeves (no tank-tops), and knee-length shorts.  No midriff-baring swimsuits are allowed. You will be asked to change your shorts if they are to short.  Review and utilize the “For Strength of Youth” pamphlet. If you don’t have one, please ask your Ward Camp Director or Young Womens President

  • Leave your cell phones and worldly gadgets at home.  No phones, tablets, e-readers, gaming devices, etc. are allowed at camp... If it has an on/off switch, leave it behind.

  • Also leave your blow-dryers and other electric hair devices at home.  The Camp has advised that the electrical lines are "ancient" and these items (especially blow-dryers) cause problems with the electricity.

  • Keep a buddy with you wherever you go. A few buddies can be fun, too! Please avoid exploring solo. We have a schedule to keep. Please help us by being on time and ready to have fun!

  • Take care of our camp and beautiful surroundings by cleaning up after yourself and others. Please pick up all trash you come across.

  • Be respectful of other campers’ belongings. Don’t “borrow” or take items that do not belong to you without the owner’s permission. Keep up with the items you brought or have been given.

  • Young women many not leave Camp without a leader or parental escort. We hope that everyone will commit to being at camp for the entire time, but understand that there may be conflicts. Please advise your Ward Camp Director of any conflicts prior to camp. During camp, if an emergency arises and you believe you must leave, please advise your Ward YW leaders, who will then advise one of the Stake Camp Directors.

  • Visitors are not allowed at camp without the permission of the Stake Camp Directors.
